Favorite Fall Lipsticks

 Fall is here and with that come dark lipsticks! The best thing about this trend is that there is something for everyone, because the look suits every skin tone! I absolutely love a vampy lip, pair the bold look with taupe eye shadow and a thin winged eyeliner, keeping the rest of the makeup natural. Here are my current top 4 dark lipsticks; 

1. Tom Ford 'Bruised Plum'
   If you are willing to invest a little more money then you can't go wrong with a bit of Tom Ford! Lets talk about colour - a beautiful burgundy shade with warm undertones and hints of fuchsia. The texture of the lipstick is amazing; its smooth, moisturizing and creamy. The finish, in my opinion, is satin-matte with a pearly finish. It creates the illusion of bigger lips and glides on with great colour pay off!  Its the perfect shade for someone who loves plum lipstick but doesn't want to go too dark. 
2. Mac 'Media'
   Media summarized in three words - dramatic, rich, sexy. This colour is the perfect mix of burgundy and wine red with a lustrous finish. The lasting power is amazing and I don't even have to use a lip liner because it stays put all day! 
3. Topshop 'Depth'
   In my opinion, Topshop lipsticks are extremely underrated! I was so surprised at the amazing colour payoff of the product.  It is a cool toned lipstick which can look a little more Gothic and bold. The purple undertones are perfect for creating a sultry look. The texture is very creamy with a velvet finish. I will definitely go and buy more Topshop lipsticks, at only 16AUD they are a steal! 
4. Mac Instigator 
   Another gorgeous purple lipstick! A little bit more pigmented that Topshop's Depth, but equally as beautiful. It goes on creamy and dries to a semi-matte finish. It stains the lips with rich, opaque colour. If you want to go bold, you cant go wrong with MAC's Instigator.
