1. VS Sassoon Curl Magic
My curly hair can be a bit temperamental especially in the hot and humid summer. This curler is super easy to use to achieve natural looking curls without the frizz! I always get compliments on my hair when I use the curler, it has definitely saved me this summer!
2. PRE GAME texturizing spray
I can be a bit lazy when it comes to washing my hair so this spray has been great for second, third or ' just came out of the ocean' hair. It helps achieve instant volume and curl without leaving my hair feeling dried up or sticky ( which most sea sprays tend to do). It contains moisturizing oils such as Argan and coconut oil to leave your hair sleek and shiny.
3. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder (Diffused Light)
If you haven't tried the hourglass ambient powders, go to your local store and do so right away! they are truly magic. The one that stood out for me this month has been Diffused Light. It helps set makeup, reduces shine and erases the appearance of pores for photoshopped looking skin.
4. Stila Eyeshadow (Kitten)
I have been keeping my eye shadow pretty natural this month but the shade I always seem to come back to is Stilla's Kitten. it is a perfect champagne shimmer colour, great for all occasions.The stilla eyeshadows are very pigmented with minimal fall out.
5. Peter Thomas Roth max Complexion Corrective Pads
These pads are a skin savour! I was getting pretty terrible breakouts just after the new year and this was the only thing that was helping! Infused with a blend of Alpha Hydroxy Acids, they help clean pores and keep pimples away . They do come in a box of 60, a little tip, cut the pads in half and that way they will last you longer!
6. Smith's Rosebud Lip Balm
My lips have been pretty dry recently but I found applying the lip balm at night before bed left them feeling soft plump and hydrated!
7. Mario Badescu Seaweed Cleansing Lotion
I have never been a big believer in toners until I tried MB. It is alcohol free and perfect for all skin types. My skin was instantly revived thanks to the witch hazel, seaweed and aloe extracts.
8. Living Proof No Frizz Nourishing Styling Cream
Again, my hair has a mind of its own, so this cream definitely helped give some shape and definition to my curls. I love using this just after I was my hair or on second or third day hair when I need an extra something! It does tame frizz without leaving my hair feel sticky, dry or heavy.
9. The Balm Hot Mama Blush
Recently, I have been loving coral/pink shades of blush, but if the Shimmer of Nars' Orgasm blush is too much then Hot Mama is the one for you! it has the perfect amount of pigment and shimmer to create a glow to the cheeks without looking like a disco ball!
10. Maybelline Colour Tattoo eyeshadow
I have always loved the colour tattoo but especially in the summer. It helps powder shadow appear more intense and stay longer! the colour tattoo's come in a range of colours from neutrals to eclectic hues!
11. Nars lipstick (Niagara)
This is the perfect colour for a simple nude, with a little something extra. This season is all about coral or orange lips so I think Nars Niagra is the perfect blend of the two! Even better it can suit any age and any skin tone.
12. Tigerlily candle in Coconut & lime
A bit of a non beauty related favourite here, Tigerlily candle! I have always loved the smell of coconut so when I walked past their store the other month I couldn't resist this gorgeous smell! it is a two whick candle so it will melt quickly to fill the room! go out and try it!
Movie:
Movie of the month would definitely have to be The Wolf of Wall Street with leonardo diCaprio. Its the perfect balance comedy and drama. I would highly recommend seeing this movie if you haven't seen it yet.
TV Show:
Recently I have been watching ALOT of Sex And The City. I think I have seen season 3 at least 4 times now. it is such an easy show to watch whether you are feeling sad or happy you always find yourself relating to one of the girls.
Album
If I had to pick one album, it would have to be Holy Fire by Foals. I have also been getting into heaps of 80s/ 90s music, everytime I hear Groove is In The Heart by Deee-Lite I remember dancing to the video clip while watching MTV. Follow my playlist on Spotify!
